with-ing

In classes, we often discuss considering that everything is FOR us, not TO us.  This is an attitude that can lead to curiosity over victimhood.  A much stronger place to be.

A brilliant friend said last week that she prefers to think of everything as being WITH us...as in things not happening apart from us, but in a co-creative way.  Genius!

What would that be like, if we considered everything as collaborative, helping us move closer to Love?

I can't answer that for you, of course, but neuroscientist Andrew Newberg and M.R. Waldman have written a great book,Words can Change Your Brain, that highlights the importance the words we choose!
